Reawakened in relationship with our Earth kin, imagine moving forward in interconnection, re-enlivened with purpose, rooted in depth. Ready to bring into being a brighter world.

This autumn’s retreat centers around the theme of the Spiral. One of nature’s innate patterns found from snail shells and unfurling fern fiddleheads to weather patterns and galaxies, the Spiral reminds us of the non-linear, cyclical nature of life and of expansion inward and outward.

The Spiral Retreat also comes during the season of autumn, when the transient nature of life is tangible in the crisp cool air and turning leaves. Autumn connects us with the element of Metal in five element theory, an energy of inspiration, wide perspective, reflecting on what matters, and releasing what is ready to go. Autumn’s approach toward the deep hibernation of winter reminds us to embrace our own cycles of death and rebirth, and the non-linear, cyclical nature of healing.

Testimonials from Group Eco-Somatic Retreats

“From the moment I signed up, I was looking forward to the eco-somatic retreat. Spending a full day immersed in nature, in community, and in quiet connection with myself was deeply nourishing. The retreat was beautifully held and thoughtfully structured by Nicole, who created a safe, welcoming space for exploration, healing, and even play.

We moved at a really wonderful pace and flowed through the day. We walked the land, shared reflections, and engaged in practices that helped us reconnect with our bodies and the earth. Nicole provided everything we needed to feel supported, including a delicious lunch, nourishing snacks, and space for all of our feelings- big and small.

Over a week later, I’m still carrying a sense of wonder from the experience. The insights and shifts that came from simply slowing down and listening to nature, to my body, to others, and to the moment have stayed with me. I’m so grateful to Nicole and the group for such a transformative and heart-opening day.”

— Theresa R.

“Nicole’s Eco Retreat was an incredible experience that I cannot recommend enough. Held intimately in community and surrounded by nature’s gifts, Nicole led us on a day of remembering and reconnection. Through meditation, movement, song, altar making, creek playing, laughter and tears, we remembered. We remembered our sacred connection to each other and Mother Earth. As I sat in a circle of beautiful humans surrounded by Dawn Redwoods, I was reminded of my belonging and connection to all of the beautiful parts of myself that I often forget. This experience was a reminder that I all need to do is come home to nature and I will find myself. Thank you, Nicole for helping me remember. 💜”

— Amanda P.

“The Remember retreat is a portal into the present moment with Mother Earth. It’s an opportunity to deepen your connection with nature. To leave the musings of your busy mind at the door and step into the timelessness of the present moment. Connecting to our bodies through experiencing the bare earth under our feet is the medicine our lineages yearn for. Let yourself be transported into an afternoon of interconnectedness with the living ecosystems that remind us of our place within the web of life.”

— Dominique L.

I highly recommend this retreat for those who need to leave the electronics behind and immerse yourself in nature for a brief period of time. To remember that we are part of this earth and that resources for thriving are everywhere - so close to our hands. All we have to do is stop, reach out, and touch the trees.

— Sherry M.

How We Remember, How Eco-Somatic Retreats Work

Somatic Re-Connection

  • Our bodies and nervous systems breathe with the wisdom of nature’s ancient lineage. We use somatic practice to listen to our nervous system’s experience and let our bodies lead. We listen to the birds and feel the sun on our skin. Our nervous systems co-regulate with Mother Earth. We are remembering what our bodies already know.

We reach out to touch the textures of the land, engage our senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste. Alight the inner child with play and exploration. Reignite the wild within. Harvest the calm of a still and quiet pond.

Intention

  • From visioning practices, to Earth offerings, and opening and closing rituals, this experience will give you ways to practice the art of intention, creating presence around what you are cultivating and releasing, and staying open to possibility.

By slowing down and connecting, we can learn a paradigm of relating with Earth rooted in reciprocity, love, and interbeing, one that also supports us in accessing our own power, healing, and manifestation of our dreams.

Weaving

  • With Eco-Somatics, we are weaving our lives back home into nature. As you return to your daily life, your deeper connection to the nature within and around you weaves into your work, relationships, & community. You take in more of the vibrant, breathing world to which we belong.

This offering is designed both to be an in-the-moment gift of an experience. And, may it support you in growing closer to your true nature as you continue on your journey.
